All my downloads changed over to code

HI! I was trying to go back through my notes on supplements this morning, and noticed all of the downloads have changed to a series of code instead of being the download they once were! It has happened in almost every category we've gone over so far. I am wondering if anyone in tech support has any idea how I can get these back besides downloading everything over again. thanks

yikes...I have never heard of this happening but I'm sure JT will know what we can do....I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from him.

Did you download the acrobat pdf reader? From what we can find, it may be that they're opening up in Chrome, which might cause an issue like this....

I didnt know I needed to download anything to open a pdf file, but before class, I always just used safari.

once I started using chrome to be able to get better connection in class, I started downloading on that browser too. before, when I was downloading on safari, those files are still present in my Icloud drive. but all the ones I assume downloaded on chrome are not. so do I need to download adobe reader and they will work again or do I just need to start over?

Download the adobe reader and then open on chrome and see if they appear in your icloud drive. I don't know if they will but let's see what happens....then we'll take it from there.
