TCM/Western herbal resources

David, I am wondering if you have or could recommend any books that include both the western and TCM perspective? I am constantly going from book to book trying to translate what we are learning in the western herbs to the Chinese lingo. I have one, but it is not very comprehensive. Western Herbs According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, A Practitioners Guide written by Thomas Avery Garren. It only includes Western Herbs, but not very many, and doesn’t look at the herbs from a western perspective too. What I would like to find is a book that covers quite a few and you can translate both directions, western and Chinese. I essentially need a translation guide 😂😂

There are 2 really excellent books by Jeremy Ross, Combining Western Herbs and Chinese Medicine and his other book A Clinical Materia Medica (western herbs from a TCM perspective) sadly both are out of print and were published by an obscure small publisher. I believe Thomas has a second book, I don’t have it, but it might expand on the first and my materia medica (class) vcover over 300 herbs looking at TCM and western uses and concepts.
