TCM: placenta encapsulation

I'm currently being trained to do placenta encapsulation, I'm wondering if any professors know of good resources to learn about the TCM theory and application of placenta consumption. I assume this won't be in our materia medica, but A materica medica for placenta would be amazing! Thanks!

I do not use animal or human parts in my practice, although they are used in TCM. The relatively recent practice of using placenta for post-partum women is controversial. One website that discusses this is https://www.happygoatproductions.com/blog/2016/5/11/placentophagy-and-chinese-medicine, it is mostly a negative view of this practice, but if you scroll down to comments, a TCM practitioner speaks of her positive experiences using placenta. I have no experience with it one way or the other,
