Hi David. I am curious about the reasons behind tincturing some food herbs, but not others. What makes some food herbs like goji berry and da zao "tincturable" and not cranberry or blueberry, for example? Or put another way, if goji berry can make a serviceable tincture, why not cranberry? thank you, Sonia

Goji berry makes a decent tincture and is available. Da Zao is not commonly used as a tincture or available as one, the tea or extract granules are better forms. Cranberry is available as a juice or capsules, more effective than a tincture. Blueberry is available a solid extract or capsules, both are more effective than as a tincture.
