A couple of months ago we had a case where the person had Factor V Leiden and they were taking a daily aspirin, which you mentioned may not be a great idea and suggested that the person talk to their doctor about it. Why would that be? Wouldn't you want something to help thin the blood for a blood clotting disorder? Is this something that if the person wasn't on aspirin, you could use blood thinning herbs like Dan Shen (or whatever herbs are appropriate for the individual) to address? Or is it best to use medications for something like this?
