Hi David, We live in a very humid climate (relatively maritime, but boggy). After 3 relieving “dry” years this year, again, is very humid with relative humidities between 70% and 100% at 65°F. We don´t have air conditioning or air driers, so our indoor humidity has spiked to an 80%, too. I always use a dehydrator for herb drying that uses room air, pushed through a filter, at 95°F to dry my herbs. Even after 7 full days of drying this year the herbs are still “half way there” and soft to the touch. In recent years, they were dry and crispy after 3 to 4 days. I was wondering if you had any tips on how to dry herbs under such difficult conditions, since quite a few herbs I plant and store are rarely available on the market so I´d be super grateful to find a solution that works even in “bad” years. Thank you very much.

You are going to need more heat around 115-120 degrees and really good airflow. I do not think the unit you have will work undertake conditions you have at this time.
