Dr Wendy - irregular periods in young adults

Hey Dr Wendy One OBGY said that it's common and normal for teenagers and young adults to have irregular periods and it might take until their mid 20's to become regular. Would you concur?

Wendy said: Normal for the first year. After that, things should be regulated, so if they AREN'T, we should intervene.
