Can dampness and yin deficiency coexist? There have been a few things said that have left me confused. I thought I understood that you can have both. For example, poor digestion can lead to dampness and to yin deficiency since you are not turning food and drink into blood and fluids, and over time this can become yin deficiency. I have seen this in myself. My tongue shows no indication of yin deficiency but my symptoms do, whereas, my tongue shows dampness along with dampness symptoms. Thank you!
