No, the internal problem does not cause the vertebrae to go out of place and in fact that is the old Chiropractic theory. The newer theory which talks about subluxation complexes focuses on inflammation, rather than a vertebra necessarily being out of place. Certainly physical trauma or poor nerve conduction can cause or exacerbate other problems, but whether someone has T2D is not due to a vertebrae being out of alignment. It is caused by genetics, obesity, poor diet, lack of exercise, etc
