I'm a gardener and always look up the herbs you mention to see if I might be able to grow them here. A number of sites I looked at said that Chinese Parsley is Cilantro. Is this your understanding too? If so, I'm thrilled because Cilantro grows very well here.

If you are referring to Ligusticum/Chuan Xiong which is also known as Chinese Parley, no they are not the same herb, that is why you have to look at the Latin binomial, many plants share common names.
