Hi! I’ve always wondered about this. I’m registering to the video on bladderwrack and you’re talking about nutrients in it. I’m wondering if you know anything about the bioavailability of minerals/ nutrients in seaweed? Specifically, I’ve heard people talk about how nutrients are more bio available in whole food forms but I’ve never been sure about why that would be true. Hope the question makes sense

The minerals in seaweed are highly bio-available, because first they are in a natural form (chelated - bound to amino acids) that the body can easily absorb and they are complexed with the other naturally occurring co-factors needed for absorption, as an example for calcium absorption you also need magnesium, potassium, silica, and boron and they are all found in seaweed.
