Adaptogen and other herb triune dosages

You mentioned in our triune class you often use American Ginseng as a 1/9 part instead of 1/6 part because of the cost. Looking purely theoretically, do you prefer adaptogens at the 1/6 dosage if that is assigned to them? Do you ever put all three of your adaptogens in the center triangle? In general, do you prefer any herb at the dosage assigned to it but bump it down as a compromise? Or in general is that not a problem, you never think twice about it and don’t prefer either way? Any 1/6 herb can also be used at 1/9 part, it does not matter if they are adaptogens, nervines, cardiac tonics, etc. I have no preference, they can be used at either spot (except for Cordyceps which is an 1/18 part herb), my choice has more to do with the person I am treating and what I believe they need.
