use of Calendula in early age related macular degeneration

David, last week you mentioned that calendula flowers may be used along with blueberries, goji berry or amla as part of a protocol for age related macular degeneration. Do you have a reference or can you site a study. How would you incorporate the use of calendula flowers with the blue berry or goji berry? is this a tea, tincture, thrown in a salad, asking for myself. thanks.

David said: If there were studies it would be on your MM sheet. The flowers are rich in Lutein which has been shown to help prevent AMD. The dry flowers can be used as a tea, tincture or powdered and put in capsules or a smoothie. You cannot get enough activity from eating the fresh flower in salads
