Hello, My son will be leaving for college at the end of August. He will be going to RI from Florida. Of course, I am concerned because I won't be readily available if he needs me. I am concerned about a few specific things. 1. Getting sick from living in the germy dorm with so many kids and adjusting to the RI winter after living in FL all of his life. 2. Energy,Injuries and muscle soreness from basketball. 3. Emotional health being so far from home for the first time for so long. I had been giving him a glyceride of gotu kola and rhodiola during basketball seasons, but just learned in class that it can affect sperm count ( I would like to have grandchildren one day :) ) Do you have any general suggestions of the a few remedies that I can send with him to address these issues? or if there are things that he should be taking now to prepare his immune system, etc? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Not knowing the details of your sons health, energetics, health issues makes giving accurate information difficult, but I would think something like H & A’s Serenity compound for stress, Elderberry gummies and H & A”s Ultimate Echinacea for cold and flu season, H & A”s Fit Adapt for Basketball season would be good choices. Eating healthy, getting adequate, good quality sleep, daily deep breathing exercises and other stress relief techniques, avoiding partying and excessive alcohol or other recreational drugs are the foundation for him staying healthy and dressing layers during the colder seasons. RI is much colder than Florida in the winter.
