What areas can I look into for someone who has some white hair that has reverted back to dark? Not all of the hair, but strands that are half white (old growth) and the younger half, including the root, is dark. Is this a common mineral deficiency, or could this be hormonal? And are their constituents in He Shou Wu that can benefit? Thanks

Thanks for the comment about He Shou Wu. It is promoted in the modern marketplace to promote hair growth, strengthening and delay graying. This individual is a 48-year-old female in perimenopause.

David said: Yes lots of incomplete information on the internet, perimenopausal hair loss is pretty common. It is often the hormonal changes, and can be exacerbated by poor diet, stress, or female pattern balding. This is a situation where there is not an easy answer, and treating the whole person would be the best option.
