Hello David, I am working on a case history due April 8th, with a lot of psychological past history, meds, institutionalization, young adult. Mother committed suicide, father has alcohol and drug addiction, she experienced bullying all through school, also drug and alcohol abuse as a teen to 6 months ago. Now alcohol abuse. I am having difficulty sorting out all the history. Does social history contain only the present? Does psychological history only include the present? I feel some past history is pertinent or is it not? I am editing and re-editing my case study but need more guidelines for what not to include and what to only include. David said: yes it is and in this case very pertinent, include all relevant information, but we do not necessarily need all the details, just what you have written above and any additional things that will help us understand her and her issues.
