I recently harvested Ashwagandha for the first time and have some questions: 1 - Roots were washed and cut into small pieces. How long should I let them dry? 2 - What are uses/advantages of powder vs. tincture? 3 - For tincture, is it advisable to use root pieces or powder? 4 - Can medicine be made from the seeds? If so, what are its uses and how different from root medicine? Any resources on this that you would recommend? Thank you!

They should be dried quickly in a dry and warm (not hot) place, if done correctly they should fully dried in 3-5 days. A tincture is extracted and bypasses the digestive system, powders have to be digested. Freshly ground powder. The seeds are not used as medicine. Not sure what you are looking for, but the materia medica sheet you will get when we cover this herb, is rather extensive.
