Greetings David, I have in my St John’s wort notes that you don’t think that it makes a very effective tea. In last month’s on-the-board cases, someone used it (in their tea) and you said (1) they didn’t use enough (only 1/2 part in total formula); and (2) that the dried plant isn’t any good anymore after 6 months but if we dried it ourselves and used within 6 months, then it would be okay. So is the reason that you don’t think it’s very effective as a tea because people are usually using commercial dried plant material that is too old to work? Or if we dry and make ourselves within 6 months, does it still not make very effective medicine in your opinion and we should just use it as a tincture (or in capsules)? Thank you!! Donna S.

Commercial dried SJW is almost always old and useless.
