Hi, David--this lady has asked for herbal help, but she is in a terrible living situation that it doesn't look possible to get out of. She lives with her daughter who adopted 2 brothers from India. It turns out the older one wants to murder everyone around him and the younger one (8 years old) has severe problems because he has been terrorized his whole life by his brother. The older one has been diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder and has been sent to a treatment program which is stressing the family financially. The lady in question can't eat or drink even water without stomach pain, and is exhausted. She says she has never been anxious in the past, but now she is constantly fearful. Let me know your thoughts. She has an appointment with a gastroenterologist, but my sense is that nothing is going to make much difference as long as she lives in fear. Counseling seems like the best suggestion. Thanks for all, Joyce Stahmann

Sadly, living in constant fear and anxiety like this has no simple cure. Rescue Remedy, Mimosa bark and Yuan zhi, and if she can find a psychiatrist who works with Psilocybin or Mescaline, it may really help her. For her GI a combination of Hops, Chamomile, Catnip, Meadowsweet and Cyperus may provide a bit of relief. This is a terrible situation can she get any therapy or pastoral counseling to help with her very real fear. (and when the kid comes back a really good lock on her bedroom door)
