Hi again David,
I think I've managed to boil my question down to an Aristotelian syllogism. Ha.
I'll quickly recount two experiences.
1. I've recently noticed a new(?) pre-migraine symptom: stuffy nose/sinuses. If I treat it like an allergy response, I can stave off migraine. Migraines also tend to occur around my menstrual cycle.
2. When I was on a pharmaceutical anti-anxiety med (Buspirone, which works, albeit mysteriously, on serotonin), a side effect was a terribly stuffy nose, particularly at night.
I'm making a logical leap here, but I am feeling that there's a connection between hormones (serotonin, maybe in particular) and this odd stuffy nose phenomenon, and, in turn, migraine.
What do you think?
