I’ve found some exceptionally large chickweed on my property, it looks exactly like Stellaria media except just 5-10x the size. Still feels cool and moist when I crush it and rub on my skin. Tastes mineral rich. I think I’ve identified it as Stellaria aquatica, or giant chickweed. Do you know if this can be worked with interchangeably with Stellaria media? I have seen Stellaria media close to that large, although it could be S. aquatica. I suspect they are similar, although I have never seen any comparison of constituents, and virtually no mention of the S. aquatica used as food or medicine.

So you think it could just be s. media and large, any key differences I should look for in identification to confirm?

I have not seen the water plantain enough to know clear differences, I would have to key them out in a flora.
