Andrew, David, or both:) I was wondering if you have used, or have any opinions, regarding recommending grass fed bovine sourced glandulars/substances to patients? Liver, adrenal, pituitary, thyroid, thymus, colostrum, immunoglobulins etc.? Thank you! It seems many companies are advertising products such as these lately. Thank you! Jami

Andrew said: Hi Jami- I do not use glandular products for humans. I find that the plant kingdom has quite a bit to offer. Glandular products are questionably effective. Many of the nutrients, for example hormones found in these products do not survive the stomach acid. Additionally, I have concerns about toxins and other metabolic waste products belonging to the animal (which can be concentrated and stored in various glands).
