I'm looking to reduce prolactin levels in someone who had a prolactinoma (removed several years ago but still has elevated prolactin). He's been on Cabergoline for years, but it makes him short of breath, and if he's not on it, elevated prolactin makes him feel awful. So, I want him to try the white sage - Vitex - bugleweed combo. But. He also has Hashimoto's and is on Levothyroxine, which makes me wonder about the bugleweed. Is there another that would be good? What should I be cognizant of with this issue? (I wouldn't feel comfortable doing this yet if he weren't my brother!)

I agree I would not use Bugleweed in someone who has Hashimoto’s. Unfortunately I do not think the Vitex and White Sage will work as well without it, try adding White Peony and a little Licorice instead some research suggests they can inhibit prolactin.
