Hi David! On a recent hike, I found HUGE stands of Dwarf Ginseng enjoying the local forest. Curious, would you tincture this the same way as American Ginseng root? Would you make it fresh or dried leaf? And, like you stated in the Panax quinquefolis MM, the Cherokee used the Dwarf Ginseng leaf to "make everything work better" and potentize other formulas. Do you have other research to find out more about Panax trifolium or to point me in the right direction? Thank you in advance! Nina

There is virtually no research, historical use, phytochemistry, or ethnobotany for dwarf Ginseng. In Cherokee medicine small amounts of the leaf is added to teas to enhance activity.
