Hi David and Rich, If a person has already been diagnosed with Covid19 and has recovered after a mild case, do you recommend any kind of herbal remedy to help the body detox with Alteratives? Thank you much! Nina

It is not about detox, it is preventing what they are calling medium COVID. Post COVID (even very mild or asymptomatic cases) there is a huge increase in strokes, cardiac disease, Alzheimers and other serious health issues for the next year. This is caused by systemic inflammation, immune activation (ii.e a viral-induced autoimmunity) and increased blood viscosity. So I am recommending to people for at least 6 months (a year may be better, but this is speculative) post COVID a regimen of immune amphoterics (herbs such as Reishi, Schisandra, Asian or American Ginseng, Cat’s Claw, Maitake, Ashwagandha, Astyragalus, etc) and immunoregulatory herbs (Turmeric, Boswellia, Dan Shen, Baikal Skullcap, Gotu Kola, Unprocessed Rehmannia, etc) to inhibit excessive immune response, anti-inflammatories (Turmeric, Gotu Kola, Boswellia, Amla, Rose Hips, Hibiscus, etc) and herbs to thin the blood (Red Root, Dan Shen, Hong Hua, Dang Gui, Kudzu, Garlic, etc). As you can see some herbs do more than one thing, and which herbs I choose depends on the persons constitution, energetics and specific of the case. blessings, david
