Hi, David--I have had excellent results using formulas for Covid-19 from Sam Coffman (Herbal Medics, Herbal First Aid Gear). I have worked with 4 people so far--found out about their situation about 4 days into the illness, and they were all feeling very sick. None of them had ever taken herbs and nutritional supplements before, so it seemed like a breakthrough for natural medicine that they all conscientiously followed protocol. The results were almost immediate and they all recovered quickly once on the formula. Two of them were high-risk: one man in his 40s was 2 months out recovering from a heart attack (he is an alcohol abuser), and on 3-4 medications. Another is late 50s, a diabetic, overweight, with high blood pressure. On 4 different medications for diabetes and blood pressure. His oxygen level had gone down to 92, but his doctor had nothing to offer unless it went even lower. Two of the people had it in early Nov. and the other 2 in early Dec. All of them have completely recovered with no lingering problems.
The formulas that Herbal First Aid Gear sends out have changed over time. The one I ordered at the start of the pandemic: Salvia miltorrhiza, black cardamom, Japanese knotweed, Elder, sweet Annie, licorice, marshmallow, Houttuynia, Scute root, goldenrod, Inmortal, astragalus, Yerba santa.
The current one, called RC1: Pleurisy root, Houttuynia, elder berry, bark, flower and leaves, goldenrod, Yerba santa, Scute root, sweet Annie, feverfew, Salvia miltorrhiza.
These people were all far away from me, so had to express mail from my home--I included a respiratory syrup in case of bronchial or lung issues--I sent either Natura's Lung and Bronchial Tonic or Herbal First Aid Gear's respiratory syrup: Usnea, Horehound, Monarda, Osha, Argemone, Mallow leaf and root, Comfrey.
I also recommended high-dose vitamin D, zinc, vitamin C, and melatonin--not sure how much these helped, since starting the RC1 brought about the most dramatic change. I know this partly because I was afraid to give it to the older man with diabetes and high blood pressure (worried about interactions with his medications). I recommended another formula for him--Gaia's Quick Defense, which has elderberry, echinacea, andrographis, and ginger. He improved for 2 days and then started to get much worse over a couple of days. I was lucky enough to be able to communicate with Sam Coffman about the pharmaceuticals, and he said using his formula would be fine. As soon as the man started on RC1, his condition completely turned around within 48 hours.
I am very curious to hear about other people's exeriences!
Thanks for all,
Joyce Stahmann
