Dandelion leaf and HCTZ and lasix

Is it a good idea to include dandelion leaf in a complex formula for someone with elevated blood pressure who is already on one of these diuretic pharmaceuticals? How do you know when to include it and when not to? Is there a clear rule about this?

If someone is on a pharmaceutical diuretic, i would not add a lot of herbs that have additional diuretic activity, a small amount of an aquatic would be ok.
