Hi David! My last question for today! I have a question about using a Chinese formula alongside a triune in place of bitters. I wanted to do this for the latest case history (AG), but wasn't sure if it would be too much. I personally have not responded well to bitters - they caused stomach irritation, and I didn't notice improvement. For this reason, I have wondered if you have seen someone not respond well to bitters, and what alternative you would use. I have seen the Chinese formula, StomachVigor, worked well for myself and others (will link below). If I wanted to add StomachVigor to a protocol, would you suggest not addressing low digestive fire in the triune? Or would having the triune and StomachVigor together be too many complex formulations at once? Guang Ci Tang StomachVigor (Xiang Sha Yang Wei Pian): https://www.activeherb.com/xiangsha/?gad_source=1&gclid=Cj0KCQiA4-y8BhC3ARIsAHmjC_FANdUi7mLQBTOCxXHEZVm2DpDQ4vyKyGsmJTFCqEb-45GszmfDFM0aAmsLEALw_wcB I hope my question is clear. Thanks! - Hillary

David said: Bitters can be too strong for some people, you can use milder bitters, a lower dose or try something else like a TCM formula as extract granules. I don’t suggest pills they are hard to digest.
